The purpose of the Vegaøyan World Heritage Foundation is to contribute to the preservation of the values and qualities that form the basis for the designation of Vegaøyan as a World Heritage Site. To fulfill this purpose, the foundation will work, among other things, for documentation, dissemination/information, management measures/restoration, and network building/collaboration.
The Vegaøyan World Heritage Foundation therefore wishes to announce grants to teams and associations that work to promote and support the values of the Vegaøyan World Heritage Area. The funds must be used for specific projects and initiatives. Applications must include a project description and financing plan.
